High-End Sneaker Retail Prototype
Parametric Design Language Study
This project explores multiple spatial configurations for a contemporary sneaker boutique concept, unified by a distinctive parametric design language. Each iteration demonstrates how the same modern aesthetic vocabulary can be adapted to different retail layouts and customer flow patterns while maintaining brand consistency and architectural coherence.
Design Language: The signature element is a continuous flowing wall system featuring horizontally layered panels in warm golden yellow, creating dynamic undulating surfaces that blur the boundary between architecture and product display. This parametric approach generates organic, wave-like forms that feel both futuristic and inviting, establishing a memorable spatial identity that elevates the retail experience beyond conventional store design.
Material Palette:
- Primary: Matte golden yellow composite panels with precise horizontal ribbing
- Secondary: Pure white integrated shelving and display niches
- Tertiary: Polished concrete flooring in neutral grey
- Accents: Embedded digital screens, glass display cases, warm wood elements
Spatial Variations: Each design demonstrates different applications of the core language:
- Gallery Configuration: Open plan with central display tables and perimeter parametric walls
- Immersive Experience: Fully wrapped spaces where the flowing walls create cave-like product grottos
- Transparent Retail: Glass-fronted variations with flowing forms visible from the exterior
- Merchandising Wall: Dramatic floor-to-ceiling waves that integrate product display directly into the architectural gesture
Technology Integration: Embedded digital displays flow within the parametric walls, revealing product anatomy, technical data, and campaign narratives that reinforce the brand’s performance-driven identity.
This design system offers flexibility for different store footprints and markets while ensuring immediate brand recognition through its bold, contemporary architectural expression.
